Senior Care Team Leader Location: In-person Contract: Full-time or Part-time Salary: 15.50 - 17.00 per hour Shifts: 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, or 8am-9pm (includes supernumerary hours for audits)
We're seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Care Team Leader to guide and support a dedicated team caring for up to 36 elderly residents. What you'll bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience in elderly care
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to mentor and supervise staff
Commitment to person-centred care and wellbeing
Confidence in administering medication and conducting audits
Understanding of CQC standards and care planning
Key responsibilities:
Lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality care
Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and mentor senior carers
Promote independence, dignity, and choice for residents
Oversee medication administration and training updates
Develop enriched care plans and engage residents in activities
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
