Business Administrator
Pay Rate: 16.88 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Gloucester Business Park / Hybrid (Work From Home flexibility)


About the Role
We're looking for a Business Administrator to join our Business Support team and play a key role in supporting this critical mission.
As a Business Administrator, you'll provide essential administrative and analytical support to the Business Support Team Leader and colleagues across the ND business. You'll help manage key data, streamline communication channels, and contribute to continuous business improvement projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment and contribute to a major phase in the UK's nuclear lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the ND Business Support Team and Organisational Change mailboxes, triaging and directing enquiries.
  • Oversee the team's Microsoft Teams channel - maintaining structure, recording actions, and ensuring resources are easily accessible.
  • Maintain and update departmental organisation charts and email distribution lists (~250 people).
  • Extract, compile and present data from various EDF systems in a clear and usable format.
  • Provide secretariat support - scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and tracking actions.
  • Assist in maintaining internal intranet pages (eNZO).
  • Support business planning, reporting, and improvement activities across the ND function.


What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong academic record (A-level or equivalent) or relevant administrative experience.
  • Excellent IT skills - proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
  • Confident learning and using new systems and tools.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and use initiative.
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.

Desirable:

  • Strong Excel or database experience.
  • Previous experience in a business support or data administration role.
