- Preparation of accounts for statutory management accounts
- Delegating and overseeing the work of others
- Mentor and provide learning strategies for trainees
- Identifying potential areas of improvement for the client and challenging existing working methodology
- Support Partners and the Senior Management team in their portfolios
- Support ad hoc projects such as due diligence, funding proposals, cash flow forecasting
- Support and assist in the planning of audit processes.
- Liaise with the tax team and external professionals.
What you'll need to succeedThe successful Accounts & Audit Senior is likely to be able to offer:
- Accountancy qualification - ACA / ACCA
- Strong team mentality but with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of different accounting software (Xero, Quickbooks and Iris/CCH etc.)
- Good analytical skills and a commercial approach
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
