Join a well-established and growing firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit services. As part of a dynamic and expanding team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the audit function. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Audit Manager.
To help drive success and maintain exceptional client service.
Your New Role:As an Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a diverse and high-value client portfolio and lead audit engagements from planning through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients with fees totalling approximately 500,000
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, ensuring deadlines and queries are managed effectively
  • Leading large and complex audits, offering practical solutions to partners
  • Identifying and managing firm-wide risks, including reputational and credit risks
  • Collating data for inspections, technical reviews, and audit-related enquiries
  • Monitoring timesheet entries for accuracy and appropriate coding
  • Ensuring audit teams stay within budget and time allocations
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients on all audit matters
  • Responding promptly to client queries and maintaining high service standards
  • Supporting business development through proposals, presentations, and networking

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing audit teams and client portfolios
  • Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
  • Ability to implement audit methodologies and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Experience with both substantive and controls-based audits, group reporting, and cross-border engagements
  • Familiarity with accounting frameworks such as UK GAAP and FRS
