TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a dynamic and ambitious firm that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. With exciting plans to double turnover in the next year through local acquisitions, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a business undergoing significant transformation and growth.
About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, made up primarily of limited companies with turnovers of up to £7 million. You’ll be responsible for reviewing accounts prepared by an international delivery team, ensuring high-quality output and seamless client service.
This is not a Partner-review environment—you will be trusted to lead on your portfolio and ensure delivery standards remain exceptional. Strong client communication skills and an ability to work autonomously are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review year-end accounts and tax computations prepared by offshore teams
- Manage and nurture client relationships, acting as their key point of contact
- Take full responsibility for your workload with minimal oversight
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across your portfolio
- Collaborate with leadership to refine internal processes and drive improvements
- Contribute to the firm’s ongoing transformation and expansion plans
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA / ACCA qualified preferred, but qualified by experience will be considered
- Experience managing or working with offshore teams is a plus
- Proven background in a client-facing accountancy practice role
- Self-motivated with a desire to contribute to a growing business
- Excellent communication, time management, and review skills
