We are seeking a dedicated SEN Qualified Teacher to join our team in Cranleigh, Surrey. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing exceptional education and support to students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and dynamic environment where they can truly make a difference.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Utilise specialised teaching strategies and tools to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Assess and record students' progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and specialists to develop individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in and contribute to training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated with the latest educational practices and standards.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages student confidence and independence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus or qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Proven experience as an SEN teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs and the strategies required to address these.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of special education.
