Job description: Warehouse Operator / Supervisor

Location: Rooks Nest
Salary: Up to £30,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is growing, and they are looking for a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Operator / Supervisor to join our Logistics & Warehouse team. If you have experience in stock management, warehouse operations, and enjoy taking ownership of processes, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including supplier deliveries, stock control, and inventory management.
• Supervising the issue and preparation of stock, ensuring Engineers have the equipment they need on time.
• Carrying out plant and vehicle audits, maintaining compliance and safety standards.
• Supporting with procurement planning to ensure materials are always available to meet operational demands.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and fit for use.
• Leading and implementing improvements in logistics processes to drive efficiency.
• Occasional driving duties as required.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally with some supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
