- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Provide detailed analysis on company performance, identifying trends, and giving actionable insights to the leadership team
- Budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
- Manage cash flow and ensuring the financial health of the business
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and drive cost efficiencies
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws
- Support the Managing Director with ad-hoc projects and financial analysis
- Previous experience working in a similar varied management accounts role essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Must be IT literate including Excel and Sage 200
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
