Wonderful opportunity available for a current Sous or Head Chef of a highly reputable Hotel & Restaurant located within a stunning and progressive semi rural property in East Yorkshire.

My client is looking for a Head Chef to run this high quality kitchen operation, which operates over lunchtime and Dinner, this outlet has a very keen focus on local produce grown on the doorstep and on food seasonality, keeping the food both modern and fresh.
Weddings and private events are a big part of their business with around 80 per year, many exclusive use.
As the Head Chef you will have strong levels of communication, a keen eye for attention to detail and a good understanding of the financial obligation that comes with running your own outlet... development of your team is another key ingredient in running your kitchen and developing relationships with the operations team and sales office.
Fresh food quality is very much required so a minimum background of 1-2 AA rosette is required.
What were looking for:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar environment
- A passion for fresh food and creating high-quality dishes
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a small team
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and EHO requirements
- Ability to manage stock, suppliers, and kitchen budgets effectively
