Role Responsibilities

You’ll work with a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies, carrying out:

  • Bookkeeping duties for multiple clients
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Accounts preparation
  • Drafting personal and corporation tax computations
  • Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment and Company Tax Returns
  • Managing deadlines across a busy workflow

Candidate Requirements
  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation skills
  • Experience preparing Tax Returns (self-assessment and company)
  • Solid knowledge of Excel, Word, and at least one cloud-based accounting package (e.g., SAGE, QuickBooks, or Xero)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
