The Role:
Due to the upcoming Maternity Leave of the incumbent role holder, we have a temporary contract vacancy for a Specification and Non-Conformance Coordinator to join the QA/Technical team. 


The Responsibilities:
The core responsibilities of the role are:
•    Create, review and issue all ingredient, product, packaging and ancillary item specifications and data sheets. Maintain the specification registers and documentation.
•    Maintain system changes to support all aspects of specification control.
•    Responsible for maintaining the update of information to customers including questionnaires, certification and documentation.
•    Coordinate and collate non-conformance investigation and close out activities for customer complaints, audits, non-conforming product and quality notifications. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action assignment.
•    Responsible for producing non-conformance trending data and reports including related KPI tracking.
•    Handle routine customer enquiries and escalate as required.
•    Participate in the change management process.
•    Participate in third party audit activities.
•    Participation in the QA team to complete hygiene and fabrication audits and escalate issues to the Technical Manager.
•    Cover and support the Vendor Approval & QA Coordinator and the Quality Systems & Training Coordinator roles and tasks during absence of the responsible persons.
•    Participation in the HACCP team, Traceability team, Food Safety/Quality team and the Internal Audit Team.
•    Fostering of positive working relationships with technical and all cross-department personnel.


Qualifications and Experience:
Previous QA/specification experience or transferable skills required and HACCP/Food Safety qualifications an advantage. 

Working hours: Monday - Friday 40 hrs per week 9am-5pm with a 30-minute paid lunch.
