Company Summary
In partnership with a major name in Rolling Stock manufacturing who are undertaking a long term project to manufacture the next generation of stock one of the industry's most exciting projects to be involved in. Following multi-millions pounds of investment in there UK foot print including a state-of-the-art facility purpose built.
Position Summary:
Reporting into the project Manager you will be responsible for:
* Reacting to issues raised in the assembly process following a fault diagnosis and rectification process in a timely manner.
* Investigation process and designs using CAD and Technical drawing to assess the cause of the issue to allow for resolution or mitigation.
* Liaising with Engineering team to implement resolutions to issues found in order that documents can be amended
* Working with a team to prepare and publish mitigation for issue where resolutions are not viable.
* Ensuring all amended documents or mitigation documents and other project specific changes are implemented in coordination with the project team
* Ensure the execution of the audit program as required by internal and external audit bodies.
* Participate in shopfloor meetings for directing production feedback to all IE departments.
Person Profile:
* Rolling Stock experience is required
* A Degree or appropriate Engineering qualification is required
* Experience working within an Engineering manufacturing and process based setting
