Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a casual cover supervisor to work at an excellent partnership secondary school in Goole, 1st September and lasting on an ongoing basis. This is a temporary position, and is cover for general periods of absence within the school. Payment for this position will be between £100 and £120 per day depending on experience and qualifications. While there are no fixed days, the school uses cover regularly, almost every day, so there is potential for many shifts.
This role will involve covering a variety of different lessons due to absences within the school. You will be an integral part of the running of the school, ensuring that consistent cover is provided for students. You will forge strong relationships with staff and students. While no specialism is required for this role, if the successful candidate has a specialism as such, they will be prioritised for cover on these lessons. Experienced cover supervisors are encouraged to apply, or recent graduates with child based experience. Similarly, newly qualified teachers who want consistent work are also encouraged to apply for the role. When you are not on cover you will be assisting as a teaching assistant.
Located in Goole, the school is easy to access from all areas of Goole and the East Riding/North Yorkshire.. There is a large onsite car park that is free to use for candidates who do drive. The school has a fantastic reputation within the local community, and treats their temporary staff extremely well. This school is part of a large, national academy trust, so this could lead to further opportunities in the future. They are looking for a practitioner to provide regular cover and become part of the fabric of the school.

- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Has experience supporting within UK schools
- Has experience working as a cover supervisor (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the full CV History
- Legal right to work in the UK
