Maths Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Maths teacher to work in a partnership school in Goole, starting April 22nd 2025 and lasting until the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position, and is covering a vacant position, meaning there may be chance to become permanent in the future if the candidate is enjoying the role.. Full planning and marking will be expected for this role, and as such payment will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale, from M1 - M6. In terms of a daily supply rate, this would be the equivalent of £162.31 to £223.62 per day.

This role will involve teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 students only. Full planning and marking will be expected for this role, but there will be a large bank of resources on file for candidates to use, meaning planning requirements should be minimal. Instead, you should expect to amend existing resources to fit the needs of the learners in the class.

The school is part of large, national academy trust that places value in their staff, permanent or temporary. The school is located in Goole, and is best accessed by candidates who drive. There is an onsite car park for drivers there with ample spaces, that is free to use. There are however good train links from Hull and York.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

  • Legal right to work in the UK
