Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Worker to join East Riding of Yorkshire Council on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities

Work directly with children and families to complete Early Help Assessments and develop outcome-focused Family Plans.

Supervise family time sessions in line with care plans and safeguarding procedures.

Transport children safely to and from family time sessions, ensuring their wellbeing throughout.

Maintain accurate, detailed records and prepare written reports for meetings, case reviews, and court when required.

Recognise and act upon safeguarding concerns in accordance with Council policies.

Contribute to learning and service improvement through reflective practice.
Requirements:
Relevant Level Three qualification or equivalent in at least one of the following: Early years, education, health, social care. We need candidates that have ability and past experience of supervising family time between our children that are looked after and the significant people in their lives., transporting children to family time in own vehicle that has business use, ability to record accurately the account of family time that has taken place.
