Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Goole?

We're seeking dedicated and adaptable SEN TAs to join our supply team, supporting pupils with additional needs on both a day-to-day and longer-term basis. Whether you're looking for ad hoc days to fit around other commitments or a more consistent placement, we offer flexible roles to suit your lifestyle.

The Role:

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs in EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings.
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups to deliver personalised support and interventions.
  • Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Help pupils regulate their emotions and behaviour in a nurturing way.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to provide high-quality support.
  • Assist with daily routines, transitions, and maintaining a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
  • A strong understanding of various SEN including (but not limited to):
    • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
    • ADHD
    • Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
    • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Confidence to work in a variety of settings and adapt quickly.
  • A flexible attitude and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Team Teach, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
