Machine Operator - Food Manufacturing

Position: Machine Operator

Location: Preston

Salary: 32,000 - 36,000

Duties:

To operate and maintain machinery used in the manufacture of the high end food processing and packaging. Always ensuring a high stand in health & safety and hygiene standards.

  • Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth production
  • Perform start-up, shutdown, and changeovers
  • Conduct quality checks and complete documentation
  • Maintain hygiene and allergen control standards
  • Clean equipment and report faults promptly
  • Work collaboratively to meet production targets

Experience

  • Either experience working in a food manufacturing or sterile environments
  • Being familiar with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work on your own and be paly a part in a wider team
  • Ability work to deadlines and strong attention to detail
