Pertemps is seeking 7.5t drivers for a public sector client in Edinburgh, supporting a waste and cleansing department.
The position requires a valid 7.5t/C1 Driving Licence, CPC Training Card, and Tacho Card, along with previous driving experience.
The role offers a pay rate between £13.48 and £15.08 per hour, with a temporary ongoing work arrangement.
Drivers will work in a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule from 06:00 to 17:02, with responsibilities including heavy lifting and general street cleaning duties.
Candidates must be flexible, reliable, and knowledgeable about driving in Edinburgh while adhering to health and safety standards.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for 7.5t drivers for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy waste and cleansing department.

Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Hours of Work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 with 45min break
Rate of Pay: £13.48 - £15.08 per hour
Temporary ongoing work

Duties to Include:

Driving the relevant vehicles (cage vehicle, litter press, hako, sweeper)
Working as part of a team
Heavy lifting - moving and loading, assisting with special uplifts
Undertaking the appropriate vehicle checks and paperwork
General street cleaning duties (sweeping, litter picking, weeding)

Essential requirements:

Valid 7.5t/C1 Driving Licence
Valid CPC Training Card
Valid Tacho Card
Maximum of 6 points on your licence

Have excellent knowledge on driving around Edinburgh
Be health and safety conscious
Have good customer service skills
Have previous driving experience
Work outdoors in all weather
