One of the UK's most well established and forward thinking tech companies are on the lookout for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join their Edinburgh based InfoSec team.

They've been a global name in the tech space for over 40 years, working with some of the biggest players in the industry. Their products power some of the world's most recognisable consumer devices; it's high impact work with a real sense of purpose behind it.

You'd be joining a close knit but globally connected InfoSec function, with a specific focus on Attack Surface Management and Vulnerability Management. It's a hands on, technical role where you'll be responsible for leading the charge on identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across a complex digital environment, covering everything from Mac and Linux, to Windows, Cloud, OT and Lab infrastructure.

You'll be the go to person for running and improving vulnerability scanning architecture, working with tools like Qualys, CrowdStrike, and Splunk, and you'll collaborate across engineering and security teams to make real impact. You'll also get involved in shaping wider security policy, supporting incident response, and driving forward best practice across the board.

They're looking for someone who's been around the block a bit; a seasoned security pro who can bring solid technical experience, good business awareness, and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and execs on making security decisions that matter.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Strong experience across multiple InfoSec domains (vuln management, risk, incident response, etc.)
  • A good understanding of modern security tooling; ideally hands on with Splunk, Qualys, CrowdStrike
  • Knowledge of frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or FAIR
  • Previous experience in high tech or engineering environments would be a bonus
  • One or more certs like CISSP, SSCP, or GCIA would be great but not essential if you've got the experience

The company are known for having a great working culture; there's a strong track record of staff retention and internal progression, and they're big on work life balance too. Their central Edinburgh offices are genuinely world class, think on site gym, music rooms, tech labs and more; and you'd be onsite twice a week.

On top of their incredible office space and collaborative culture, they're also able to offer a competitive salary as well as some excellent benefits such as pension (up to 8% matched), bonus, 33 days holiday, and a lucrative training budget.

If you want to work on cutting edge InfoSec challenges in a collaborative and technically exciting environment, this could be a great fit.
