Full-time, Rotational Shift Pattern (7-day coverage)

Salary & Benefits:

  • £23,400
  • Holidays 33 days plus 9 bank holidays (42 holidays in total)
  • 35 hour week
  • Sick pay after 6 months service
Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Operations Assistant to joina busy Property Department. Supporting the estate seven days a week on a rotating schedule, youll play a key role in maintaining the smooth running, security, and compliance of our historic and operational properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening/closing the properties and conducting daily security checks

  • Performing health & safety compliance checks and reporting concerns

  • Conducting routine maintenance inspections and carrying out minor repairs

  • Assisting with planned preventative maintenance and liaising with contractors

  • Logging and tracking tasks using property management software

  • Providing porterage support and helping with College ceremonial events

  • Maintaining exterior spaces through routine grounds work

  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency efforts

To be considered:

  • Experience in facilities, property operations, or building maintenance

  • Basic health & safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Working Safely) or willingness to obtain

  • Comfortable with physical work including working at height and manual handling

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to use property management systems
