Full-time, Rotational Shift Pattern (7-day coverage)
Salary & Benefits:
- £23,400
- Holidays 33 days plus 9 bank holidays (42 holidays in total)
- 35 hour week
- Sick pay after 6 months service
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening/closing the properties and conducting daily security checks
- Performing health & safety compliance checks and reporting concerns
- Conducting routine maintenance inspections and carrying out minor repairs
- Assisting with planned preventative maintenance and liaising with contractors
- Logging and tracking tasks using property management software
- Providing porterage support and helping with College ceremonial events
- Maintaining exterior spaces through routine grounds work
- Supporting sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency efforts
- Experience in facilities, property operations, or building maintenance
- Basic health & safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Working Safely) or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with physical work including working at height and manual handling
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to use property management systems
