Assistant Manager Cafe

We are looking for an experienced and motivatedCafé Assistant Managerto join our team and support the day-to-day running of our café.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, delivering excellent customer service, and helping a business grow.

Key Details

• Hours:5 days per week, approximately 40 hours

• Shifts:Daytime only

• Salary:£28,000 per year

• Service Charge:Additional £6,000£8,000 per year

• Reviews:Salary reviews at 6monthsand 12months

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the General Manager in daily operations

• Supervising and motivating the front-of-house team

• Ensuring high standards of customer service

• Managing opening and closing procedures

• Assisting with staff training and rota management

• Maintaining health, safety, and food hygiene standards

About You

• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role (hospitality/café preferred)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Organised, reliable, and proactive

• Passionate about hospitality and customer experience
