We are looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our clients fast-paced logistics team based in Edinburgh. This hybrid role combines hands-on warehouse duties with some driving responsibilities to cover team absences.
The Role:
- Collect equipment from multiple on-site departments
- Prepare and complete collection/delivery documentation
- Check calibration certificates, affix calibration labels
- Conduct visual damage checks
- Log and register equipment
- Ship and palletise equipment for other UK sites
- Liaise with customers regarding collection points
- Adhere to all site PPE, safety, and lab rules
- Relief driving to cover driver absences
- Use IT system to log dispatch and goods receipt
Experience:
- Previous logistics or warehouse experience preferred
- Full, UK driving licence is essential
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC Level) minimum of 5 years permanent UK residency
Salary:
£25,000 per annum
Hours:
Monday Thursday: 7:00am 3:30pm, Friday: 7:00am 1:00pm
