About the Role: We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team, assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. This role involves assisting chefs with food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized work space, and adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Assisting with washing, peeling, chopping, and preparing ingredients.
Cleaning: Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment, as well as cleaning work surfaces, floors, and walls. Hygiene: Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and procedures. Stock Management: Assisting with stocking and organizing the kitchen, ensuring adequate supplies are available. Other Duties: Assisting with other tasks as required by the kitchen staff.
Skills and Qualities:
Reliable and hardworking.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus, but not essential
