Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a fantastic opportunity in our client Primary School based in Fareham.

In this position, you will deliver pre-planned lessons under the guidance of a qualified teacher. The role offers the chance to work across the entire primary school, with some days involving moving between classes and others spending the whole day teaching in one class. Your schedule will be diverse, including covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time, leadership cover, and staff absences.

This role is flexible and can be adapted to your individual strengths and passions. If you have a particular interest in subjects such as music, art, computing, or any other area, we are happy to incorporate this into your timetable.

This opportunity is ideal for:

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate (child barred list) registered on the online update service, or be willing to process a new one
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
