Vehicle Builders - Northern Ireland

Are you a Vehicle Builder looking for your next opportunity? Do you have previous experience on interior fit out projects across either Rail, Bus, HGV or Aviation?

We have a high volume of great opportunities for Vehicle Builders on a 3 month rolling contact basis with a large Transportation business based in Northern Ireland.

Role Overview: Interior fit out of Hydrogen and Battery Powered buses.

The Coachbuilder will be responsible for the manufacture of parts for assembly on the production and assembly line. The role will involve drilling, cutting, riveting, bolting and screwing parts using hand tools and basic cutting machinery. You will be responsible for building the vehicle to specification, to a high quality within the agreed timeframe.

Safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the manufacture, fitting or assembly of components.

Fabrication of complex parts and assemblies to support the manufacturing process.

Reading and working from complex part and assembly drawings and schematics and following verbal instructions. Moving between several distinct operations whilst maintaining high quality workmanship and overall efficiency.


Working Hours:
• Monday – Thursday: 7:00am - 17:00pm , Opportunities to work O/T on a Friday (Standard 38 hours, potential to work up to 45 hours per week)

Requirements:
• Minimum Level 2 Qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent
• Previous Vehicle Building/ Interior Refit experience is essential

Rate:
• £25/hr base rate + £5.26/hr contribution to your accommodation / living costs - Please note the rate quoted is INSIDE IR35
