We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team in Grange-over-Sands as soon as possible, supporting a small group of children in years 4 to 6 alongside one boy. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in children's educational journeys. This role will be a long-term post until term end.Â
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide tailored support to a group of seven children, ensuring their educational and developmental needs are met.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of learning activities.
- Work closely with the lead teacher to monitor and report on the children's progress.
- Engage with children individually and in groups, facilitating a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Adhere to school policies and guidelines to ensure a safe and productive setting for all students.
- Must hold at least a TA2 qualification.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within a primary school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
- Experienced in handling challenging behaviour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
