We are looking for a professional and safety-conscious HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for delivering products to customers efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods safely and professionally to domestic and commercial customers.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, including Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, Road Traffic Act, DVSA, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Attend training courses as required.
- Be available to work across different locations when needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Cat C driving licence.
- Driver CPC card.
- ADR Vocational Training Certificate (Class 2 in packaged and tanked goods preferred; training may be provided).
- Strong understanding of tachographs and driver hours legislation.
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- High level of safety awareness and customer focus.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
