We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator / Imports Operator to join our clients busy team in their Freight Forwarding operation inGrangemouth.

As a key part of their operations team, you will handle import documentation, customs clearance, and liaise with HMRC and port authorities to ensure the smooth movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit customs entries for import shipments

  • Liaise with clients, carriers, and HMRC to ensure compliance

  • Monitor shipments and keep clients informed of progress

  • Resolve customs-related queries efficiently

Requirements:

  • Experience in freight forwarding and customs procedures

  • Strong knowledge of import regulations and documentation

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

  • Proficiency with customs software (e.g., Descartes, ASM, or similar)
