Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join our Grangemouth-based client on a full-time, permanent 12-month contract.

About the role?

As a Supervisor within our client's industrial division, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a small team of industrial operatives while promoting and maintaining a strong health and safety culture
  • Planning and assessing work scopes, including liaising with site contacts and depot teams to secure resources
  • Producing risk assessments and method statements, and managing permits to work in line with site processes
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, to customer satisfaction, and in compliance with audit and worksafe requirements
  • Driving company vehicles, towing equipment as required, and carrying out daily defect checks on vehicles and equipment

Please Note: This role is based in Grangemouth, but you will be working daily within a site in Fife. Therefore, daily travel to site with a small team is required, with occasional overtime, weekend work, and overnight stays - but a company van is provided for the role.

What we're looking for?

To be successful, you'll have proven experience supervising operational teams, along with:

  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required
  • High Risk Confined Space Certification and experience is essential
  • Experience of using high-pressure water jetting equipment, possessing WJA Card and Modules is essential
  • First Aid at Work, IOSH Managing Safely and Forklift Truck certification is desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
