SRG are working with a global chemicals manufacturing company who are leaders in their field to help them find them several QC Analysts to join their busy team.
This is a great opportunity to join a leading name in the global chemical industry.
There is a 12 month contract on offer with a chance of extension and longer term work.
This is a fast paced team so you must have demonstrated industry experience to join.
The Role:
- Performing high throughput QC Analysis of raw materials, in process testing and finished products
- Carrying out HPLC, GC, FTIR and UV-Vis analysis as well as utilising other wet chemistry methods
- Swabbing and hygiene monitoring of the plant
- Adhering to strict health and safety standards
- Analysing results
- Equipment calibration
- Working as part of a team
Requirements:
- HND or degree qualified in relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience
- Good technical understanding and hands on experience of HPLC and/or GC is required.
- Proven track record of performing either HPLC, LC-MS or GC analysis within an industrial environment would be preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
