CAD Engineer

Our Grantham based Client is looking for a CAD Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

The ideal CAD Engineer will have AutoCAD experience and knowledge of electrical systems.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities as a CAD Engineer will include:

  • Using AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D to produce detailed sketches.
  • Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials from engineering and product drawings.
  • Assist with documentation and data management in engineering change processes.
  • Support cross-functional teams with drawing updates and design revisions.
  • Interpret design inputs and sketches to develop comprehensive CAD models and documentation.
THE CANDIDATE

The ideal CAD Engineer will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Familiar with SolidWorks and basic 3D modelling concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • 2 years of relevant industry experience in CAD drafting or design
  • A background or interest in electrical systems and the ability to read electrical schematics will be considered an asset.
