Contract: Long-term cover with potential for a permanent role

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Long Term Futures are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Teacher to work in a specialist SEMH setting in Grantham. You'll be delivering a tailored curriculum in a small class setting, supporting both the academic development and emotional wellbeing of students with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire and support learners
  • Use relational, trauma-informed approaches to build trust and promote positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and external support services
  • Track and adapt learning based on individual needs and progress
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs
  • A nurturing, resilient approach to teaching and behaviour support
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
