Ashley Kate HR are pleased to support a well-established client that are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will be based at their Office in Grantham with a salary of up to £45,000 + £5k Car allowance plus additional great benefits.

This role is a fully office-based role. You will be required to travel to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Reporting to the Group HR Director, you will play a key role within the business that focuses on aligning business objectives with employees and management. Working closely with business leaders and managers to provide human resources support and solutions to improve business performance, whilst also driving employee engagement and development. You will also providing expert guidance on HR practices, talent management, organisational development and workforce planning as well as playing a critical role in fostering a high-performance culture and contributing to business succeed through people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges.
  • Provide guidance on organisational structure, workforce planning, and change management
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Address employee concerns and help resolve workplace issues, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Support recruitment and staffing processes.
  • Assist in the development of training programs to build employee skills and capabilities
  • Work on succession planning and leadership development.
  • Guide managers in performance management, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluations.
  • Implement programs to recognise and reward employee performance.
  • Support employees in their professional development through coaching and mentoring.
  • Promote organisational change initiatives and support the adoption of new HR programs.
  • Drive initiatives that improve organisational culture, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with all legal regulations. Maintain the Company Handbook and document register.
  • Assist in managing HR risks and legal issues related to employment law, terminations, and disputes.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement new HR programs, systems and improvements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and advise leaders.
  • Ability to think long-term and contribute to the business strategy.
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Confidence in coaching and developing leaders and teams.
