- Driving quality and food safety, ensuring compliance with BRC and industry standards.
- Managing health & safety, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
- Leading and developing a high-performing team, supporting training and development.
- Working with the Supply Chain team to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Monitoring and improving factory performance metrics, reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
- Working on continuous improvement projects to enhance factory operations.
- Lead production, maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-efficiency, cost-effective operations while meeting strict food safety and quality requirements.
- Implement and champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve reliability.
- Manage plant assets through preventive maintenance and reliability programs, ensuring equipment integrity and minimizing downtime.
- Inspire and lead a high-performing team, supporting their professional development and fostering a positive work culture built on trust, respect, and open communication.
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety OR NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety
- The successful candidate shall have proven experience in production planning, operations, and quality control within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance.
