We’re working with a nationally recognised organisation, to find a skilled Procurement Contractor to lead a crucial project. As a Procurement Contractor, you’ll take ownership of the full procurement lifecycle for a core IT services project. This includes managing internal and external stakeholders, overseeing the tender process, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Your role will be central to ensuring procurement excellence, contract integrity, and risk mitigation across this high-priority initiativeWhat we're looking for:
  • Proven track record in procurement within project environments
  • Strong experience with public or not-for-profit sector procurement processes
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills
  • Confident facilitating workshops, leading negotiations, and managing tenders
  • Ability to travel to Grantham once a week for team collaboration
The finer elements of the role include:
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process for a critical IT project
  • Act as the subject matter expert for procurement across teams and committees
  • Create and refine procurement tools, templates, and documentation
  • Manage stakeholder communications and support evaluation sessions
  • Oversee the tender process from Invitation to Tender (ITT) through to award
  • Facilitate bidder workshops and negotiation sessions
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement principles and external regulations
  • Mitigate procurement risks and resolve issues effectively
