ICT Teacher

Travail Education are an award winning, family run Education Recruitment Agency based in Lincolnshire and we having been working with a local academy for many years and have been asked to secure the teaching services of a qualified ICT Teacher to work on a part time basis to start from September initially until Christmas, ideally 3 days per week Wednesday to Friday. The academy has seen many changes in recent years but has developed into a high performing, successful academy. 

Students use a range of software throughout their course, to include Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash, as well as the traditional software like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Any Computing experience, using Python or SQL is highly desirable, although not essential.

The school offer fantastic facilities and a great working environment with students who are keen to learn.

To be considered to work for Travail Education you will need the following:

PGCE qualified or equivalent

Full UK QTS

2 Years of traceable work/study references

Fully Enhanced DBS, registered on the DBS Update Service

Recent UK classroom experience as an ICT Teacher

Applications are welcome from ECT's and experienced ICT teachers.

Able to build a good relationship with their students and co-workers

Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum

Has high standards and great classroom management, able to teach mixed ability pupils

Passionate about their subject and the education of students.
