GSL Education are looking for a brilliant Maths Teacher to join a lively team in Grantham.

We want someone who can make hard Maths easy and fun. If you want to help students learn and do well, talk to us! We need someone to make Mathematics fun in class and to show students Maths is easy.  This role is ideal for a teacher who is dedicated to helping students develop problem-solving skills and a love for Mathematics.

Duties of the Role:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating Maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
  • Encourage students to develop problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and curriculum development.

Maths Teacher Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at all levels.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for student success.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • A full and up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
