We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected residential childcare provider with multiple homes across the region. Due to exciting business growth, they are seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their caring and committed teams in Grantham and Woolsthorpe.
About the RoleAs a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people within a therapeutic, home-from-home environment. You'll help them build resilience, confidence and life skills, empowering them towards greater independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing day-to-day care and emotional support in a residential setting
Supporting childrens social, emotional, and educational development
Delivering and engaging in therapeutic interventions
Promoting independence and positive outcomes for every child
Working collaboratively with a passionate team of care professionals
Experience in a residential childcare setting or similar
A recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent) is advantageous
Knowledge of safeguarding, child development and therapeutic approaches
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to location and shift requirements)
Annual earnings potential: £29,000 £33,000(including sleep-ins)
