We are currently looking for a Transport Planner for a busy transport / logistics department in Grantham to start immediately on a temporary basis.

Your duties will include:

• Operational planning of the fleet and drivers,

• Quoting for jobs meeting company targets,

• Planning maintenance work on vehicles,

• Manage drivers in their vehicle checks, compliance and dress code, ensure all records are correctly generated, recorded and stored.

The ideal candidate will have previous Transport/Logistics planning experience, excellent telephone manner and be competent in working with Microsoft Word/Excel.
