Paying up to 27p/h (Umbrella)

Responsibilities:

• Support in driving objectives to meet targets including LPS/KPI goals, QL4 effectiveness, supplier and customer timely RCCA.
• Contribute to IPT requirements to deliver a compliant product in a timely manner meeting all cost and safety requirements
• Supportthe creation of Quality Plans defining quality assurance activities aligned to Risk, Opportunity and Improvement
• Provide leadership to the Assurance Teams in order to meet Programme and IPT objectives
• Actively ensure LPS goals for Quality KPIs including QNs, MRB, FRBs etc are achieved by supporting improvement plans and active management of key activity
• Lead the Assurance function's improvement plans across all phases
• Attend and contribute to key meetings including (but not limited to ) IPT morning meetings, DPU forums, Engineering WO meetings etc.
• Take leadership in ensuring concessions / production permits, IDN requests, CoC signoffs, Receiver requests, CoAs are processed correctly.
• Support achievement of quality assurance milestones within the Programme, Product and Project lifecycle
• Ensure delivery of reports and supporting data to the Programme, Project and function in a timely manner.
• Actively manage a root cause and corrective action investigations

Experience required:

• Further education and experience ideally in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or experience in Defence Electronics or a similarly "complex" industry.
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge within the areas of AS9100 / ISO9001 and Continuous improvement.
• Experience with Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification and First Article Inspection.
• Be a logical thinker, capable of harvesting complex data into actions with practical solutions that supports business goals, in 'the language of the business'.
• Have good interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style across all functions of the business.
• Have experience working with Customers and Suppliers.
• Have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
