Team Administrator

Meopham

8am - 4pm Monday to Friday (5 days on site)

£30-35k dependent on experience 

An established and respected organisation within the construction sector is seeking a proactive Team Administrator to support their busy and friendly office team based in Meopham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation and an impressive portfolio of reinstatement, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across multiple sectors.

Key Duties include:
  • Act as a key point of contact, maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain.

  • Manage documentation systems, ensuring information is named, filed, and stored correctly for easy access and audit readiness.

  • Support Project Management teams with calendar management, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination.

  • Handle procurement support by responding to requests for materials, plant hire, and equipment, updating trackers to ensure accuracy.

  • Collate and prepare H&S files, RAMS, and O&M manuals (both digital and printed).

  • Source competitive quotes and present pricing information clearly and efficiently.

  • Raise and manage purchase orders via established internal systems.

  • Oversee office supplies, ensuring cost-effective ordering and stock control.

  • Contribute to compliance by updating registers and assisting with onboarding new suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Manage incoming calls and emails, providing a professional first impression and directing enquiries appropriately.

  • Offer general administrative support to both office and site-based teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Solid experience within construction in an administrative capacity

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities, with strong attention to detail.

  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising at all levels.

  • Proactive in chasing outstanding tasks and information.

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable:
  • Familiarity with digital site management systems such as Sign On Site, ASite, or Chime.

  • Confident in sourcing and negotiating prices for materials and services.

  • Skilled in creating standardised templates, trackers, and documentation.

  • Experience in minute-taking would be a bonus.
