We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for aYear 1 Teacherto join a nurturing and inclusive school community starting in May 2025. This is a full-time role with the possibility of an extension in September 2025.
About the Role:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons, ensuring that young learners meet their potential in a supportive and stimulating environment. You will play a key role in the development of students' academic, social, and emotional skills, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 students
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom
- Support students' emotional and social development
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
About You:
- We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and creative Year 1 Teacher who will inspire and motivate young children. The ideal candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic and committed to helping students achieve their full potential
- A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and students
- Able to adapt to the changing needs of children, fostering a supportive learning environment
- Reflective, with a commitment to personal and professional development
- Experienced in teaching at Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach to teaching and learning
- A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their educational journey
