QHSE Manager

Gravesend

ENB are recruiting on behalf of our client in Gravesend who are seeking an experienced and qualified QHSE Manager to lead on all aspects of quality, health, safety, and environmental management within their operations. This is an opportunity to work for a well established business and play a key role in maintaining high standards across their business.

This role will work between two sites and will focus on developing and maintaining the health and safety for all staff, visitors and contractors on site.

Preferably you have experience working within a manufacturing or construction setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out quality reviews and audits on site to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Audit operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards
  • Implement and maintain the guidelines to prevent any QHSE issues
  • Lead process improvement activities and initiatives
  • Promote ongoing compliance with QHSE legislation and regulations
  • Create, review, and maintain risk assessments (e.g. Fire, DSEAR, COSHH, Manual Handling) and ensure staff adherence
  • Investigate and log all accidents and near misses and reporting
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team and QHSE team to drive best practice

Key Requirements:

  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Experience in quality and health & safety management in construction or manufacturing
  • Proven ability to promote a positive health and safety culture
  • Leadership experience would be desirable but not essential
