About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our vibrant secondary school community in the Dartford/Northfleet area from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, fostering a love of learning and scientific enquiry. You will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their academic potential and develop essential skills for future study or employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Plan, assess, and report on student progress regularly.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Participate in departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
Support and contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, trips, or enrichment activities.
Uphold the schools ethos and promote high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
A degree in a relevant science discipline.
Experience teaching science at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
