Are you a kind and compassionate individual looking to make a real difference in someone's life? We're looking for dedicated Care Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team at a well-established nursing home in Gravesend that specialises in elderly and dementia care.

?Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that meets the individual needs of residents, with compassion and respect.

  • Support residents with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, in a dignified and professional manner.

  • Promote independence and choice wherever possible, encouraging residents to participate in daily activities and routines.

  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental health to senior care staff or nurses.

  • Maintain accurate care records, ensuring all care is documented clearly and in line with regulatory standards.

  • Assist with mealtimes, including preparing and serving food, assisting with feeding if needed, and encouraging adequate nutrition and hydration.

  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and companionship to support emotional wellbeing, particularly those living with dementia.

  • Follow safeguarding protocols and health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe and secure environment
