About the Role:As a HLTA, you'll be at the heart of classroom life-supporting teachers, leading interventions, and helping every child reach their full potential. Whether you're delivering lessons, working with small groups, or preparing tailored resources, your role will be essential in driving pupil progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to meet a range of learning needs
- Plan and lead intervention sessions to support academic development
- Adapt learning materials to ensure accessibility for all pupils
- Contribute to a positive learning environment and help manage classroom behaviour
The Ideal HLTA Will:
- Have proven experience as an HLTA or in a similar school-based role
- Hold a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Be passionate about nurturing pupil growth and achievement
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Show initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach to school life
