Are you an experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a new opportunity in Gravesend? As a HLTA, your role will be pivotal in supporting classroom teachers and enhancing the educational experience of students. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons as a HLTA
Taking responsibility for small group and one-on-one teaching, ensuring pupils meet their learning goals
Using your HLTA qualification to demonstrate advanced teaching techniques and strategies
Assisting with behaviour management, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment
Helping with lesson planning and providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress
Working as part of a team to create an inclusive and effective learning environment

The successful candidate will have:

HLTA qualification with proven experience in primary education
Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and classroom dynamics
Experience in managing classroom behaviour effectively
Confidence in delivering lessons and supporting children with varied learning needs
Excellent communication skills, with an approachable and positive attitude
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team of dedicated educators
