An opportunity has arisen for a Residential Support Worker to join a well-established provider of residential care services for children and young people. This role can be full-time or part-time, offering a salary up to £13 per hour and benefits.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be supporting young residents with daily living, helping them build confidence and independence in a safe setting.

They are looking for multiple candidates.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
  • Promoting a safe, nurturing, and homely environment
  • Contributing to care planning and recording accurate documentation
  • Supporting educational and recreational activities
  • Maintaining cleanliness and household routines, including meal preparation
  • Acting as a positive role model and supporting individual development

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Residential Support Worker, Support Worker, Childcare Worker, Care worker or in a similar role.
  • Experience supporting children or young people, from ages 8-18.
  • 1 year experience in children’s home is preferred.
  • Must be aged 21 or over due to regulatory requirements
  • Enhanced DBS and compliance checks required
  • Willing to commute

Hours available:

  • Full-time: up to 160 hours per month
  • Part-time: 31 hours per week
