Warehouse Operative (Nights)
Salary: £29,124
Gravesend
Sunday- Thursday. Night shifts
Hours: 8pm- 6am
We are working exclusively with a company who are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their growing night shift team. Your main duties will include picking orders efficiently, working within a team, loading and unloading vehicles and having a good understanding of Health & Safety.
The successful candidate will be someone who has a 'can-do' attitude, works well in a team, has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work. Experience in working in a similar role is critical, as well as being able to commit permanently to the night shift hours.
Duties:
- Picking customer orders correctly for dispatch
- Printing labels and attaching to the correct order
- Banding and strapping customer orders
- Loading and unloading lorries
- General housekeeping- keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Manual handling
- Using the FLT
- Working with the warehouse team to ensure the deliveries run smoothly
Requirements:
- Experience using a FLT (Preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment
- Physical fitness for manual handling
- A real 'can-do' attitude is a must
