Our client based in Garys Thurrock, Essex,are looking to recruit and Maintenance Person to join their busy depot. A driving license is required for this role however minimal driving will be required.
Job Role
- Carrying out general maintenance, refurbishment and repair of site mobile welfare units/vans, economically and efficiently to a high standard.
- Including preventative maintenance, minor plumbing and electrical work and the maintenance of the onboard generator.
- To carry out pre delivery inspections and inbound checks on welfare units/vans ensuring quality and functionality.
- To inform your supervisor of any issues/repair work relating to damage so that it can be recorded and charged out appropriately.
- Ensuring tools and equipment are adequately maintained and cleaned, tested before use, and securely stored after use.
- To Inform your supervisor regards stock levels of spares / materials etc so they can be maintained.
Desirable Criteria
- Generator Experience
- History in working within the site accommodation / welfare industry.
- Fork truck license but not essential as training is provided.
- MPBA testing qualification but not essential as after probation period full training can be arranged.
